I guess the old labor will be invalid by now as it has been already been over 45 after approval.

Now that most of the cases that have LUD on their I-140 got or getting approvals, I want to track how many of you guys have an LUD on 07/13/2008. If you have any other LUD on your I-140, please post them.

Not bad, got visa approved same day. This was my 7th year H1 extension, while I485 is pending, applied last year July..
Got appointment a month before. Consulate automatically checks for PIMS verification within next 2-3 days..I got banamex receipt made by Mexican assistance services, in fact there are many people / company willing to get this receipt made for nominal charges..
Drove to Nogales, AZ. Parked car in one of the parking lot. Cross border by foot through revolving door. No one is there to check any immigration paper for Mexico. People from India do need visa to visit Mexico but rule seems to be bit vague. To visit US consulate in Nogales, one can get local tourist permit (which can be obtained at POA in Mexico immigration. I got Mexico visa for 6 month multiple entry through local Mexican consulate in US. In retrospect, probably I wasted time and money for nothing..No one bothers to check any documents in Mexico, in fact I have look hard to find someone in immigration to stamp my entry in Mexico..
Anyway, got Cab for $7 to US consulate. Reached there at 7.30am. Appointment time was at 8am. But this doesn't matter as consulate will let all Mexican labor visa applicant to go in first (approx 150 of them). I stood in line for about 2 hours, finally got in at 9.30. Process was smooth from there on..got biometrics / photo done and then interview for 2 minutes..IO didn't ask much, just few simple questions..Didn�t even check any extra document. I was advised to come at 3 pm to collect visa which I did. (Spent 4 hours -11am to 3pm in nearby Nogales mall)
Got return cab to border. Took about 30 minutes get new I 94 made. Entered Nogales, AZ comfortably. Car was still parked safely...Returned home happily...Will continue to wait from GC, stuck in PD of April 2006 in EB2

I am july 18th Filer, NSC, got my EAD and FP done, but still waiting for AP, got couple of LUD's for AP last week, but still it shows as received and pending ...

Hi,
I am E-filing my EAD thru online. There is a dropDown where it asks for "Current Immigration Status"...
My Situation:
1. Entered into USA using H1B Visa
2. Changed the job and now working using EAD
3. In othyer words, my status would be AOS Pending...
Now question is there is no "AOS Pending" status in that dropdown. SO, I am confused about chosing the correct status...
The nearest ones that I am thinking are "parolee" or "UNKNOWN"
Has anyone faced the situation? Could you please help me?

desitechie has already provided a sound answer. That said, EAD/H1 shouldn't be much of a difference for normal situations. Yes, you will lose the ability to reenter the US when traveling internationally without going through secondary inspection, but that additional time is negligible in the big scheme of things.
As for AC21, my take is don't bother unless you get an RFE. No harm in sending in upfront either.
Your entry status will be AOS, when you use AP.

I have browsed at two local specialist camera stores but the only digitals were either very old or cost more than I can buy new on line.:(
When you buy a film camera, you can "upgrade" the image quality, up to a certain point, by buying different film. With a digital SLR, you're essentially buying the camera plus a certain (but unknown) amount of "film." Any camera will fail at some point in time, but the general probability is that the shutter of a $1000 film camera will last a while longer than the shutter of a $1000 digital camera (the former would be a pro model, while the latter is basically amateur or lower end prosumer).
What I'm not trying to do is convince you to buy a film SLR. I have one, and would upgrade to a DSLR at the drop of a hat if I could afford it. What I am attempting to caution you about, is that a used DSLR will come with no reasonable warranty, and a certain (unknown) amount of the "film" already used up. Given the apparent "free"-ness of digital capture, lots of people shoot thousands of frames per day without thinking (I have nothing against pros who need to "machine gun" it to capture the right moment in sports - this rant was against amateurs who shoot tons of frames without any thought, hoping something good may come out by chance). Thus, you have no idea how much life will be left in a used DSLR when you buy it, and more likely than not, there will be no guarantee if it does fail. It's like buying expired film on ebay... risky, but you pays your money and you takes your choice.

As I had indicated that I had admission to study for MBA in europe starting Sep/Oct 2007, looks like I have to drop it due to the GC process ( entangled)
My last discussion wirh Immi and employer drove the nail in the coffin.
I would appreciate any suggestion fromfolks like you.
Outcome:
I can quit the job and proceed for MBA at my risk ( leave spouse behind in the US in I-485 pending stage). If for example my PD ( July 2002 EB3 india) comes up during my absence in the US and if there is a RFE, my current employer WILL NOT provide a job offer so far into the future ( ie post Sep 2008). the least they said they can do is not pull labor and I-140 ( both approved and I-485 pending for 4 yrs)
Since I am in the Mechanical egnineering field , i dont know who to find , ( unlike adundant software body shoppers present) who will draft an offer in case of RFE.
I have few more weeks before I see this opportunity slip by.
Can anyone guess if the EB3- India PD will move to July 2002 or beyond before September 2008?
Any suggestion./directions will be appreciated... Around me i have no one who has even changed jobs , used AC21 etc.

Do not worry about it. As long as you keep your job, you are fine. I've been thru the same situation, did not do anything special and got my GC.

My I-94 is expiring in a month. I have used Advance parole to enter US after a vacation about a year back. How do I renew my I-94 card? Does anybody know...
Even though you entered using AP, you might be able to extend your nonimmigrant status. As the prior answer says, this is not necessary but many employees like to have it in case the AOS is denied for any reason.
It is also useful because if your EAD expires and you have not received a new one, you cannot work even if a new application is pending. On the other hand, if your H-1B (for example) has expired but the company timely filed an extension, you can keep working while the extension is pending.

USCIS will give you 2 years EAD if there is no visa available for you i.e. if your PD is currently retrogressed, although we got 2 years EAD in August 08 when our PD was current, which gave me a fair enough reason to believe the "no visa left for EB2 I/C" news that was floating around then :)

I filled the renewal with the same employer as well. The documentation requested at the counsalate depends upon the officer. He/She may or may not ask for any documents.

The tool you are looking for is Google. Just search for your local Senator and give him a call, they will tell you what they need. As you said, Senator is very effective if your date is current.
