I have my iMac at home set for screen sharing ... In the network preferences I see something that says: to connect type ssh (followed by some numbers) .. How do I connect from a different network? Can I?!:mad:

If you have dreamweaver, you can try using their library functions. It allows you linked any tables, texts, layers to a library item so when you update that library item, every page that uses that item gets updated. Same goes for their template.

I know that mactheripper allows you to set the region to anything you like, including "all", when you rip. Maybe give that a shot. As far as why it's slow in handbrake, I'm not sure. I've only done it on a Mac Pro with multiple discs. Perhaps there's a read/write traffic jam on the HDD, since when you convert straight from the DVD it reads from the DVD and writes to the HDD.

Plug the external drive into your MacBook Pro, and open a finder window. The WD drive should show up in the left part of the finder window, under devices.
Right-click on the drive, and click on "Get Info".
In the Info window, part way down you'll see the format. For example:
Format: MS-DOS (FAT32)
or
Format: Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
or
something else for NTFS...
Remember, you can't reformat a drive (or a partition) without losing the files currently on that drive (partition). So, you MUST copy the files somewhere else, first.
I have checked and it is NTFS format. There is too much memory to copy onto my mac before reformatting. So then where else can i copy them too? For safety I can copy to another external hard drive which is NTFS, but will i then be able to move the data on to the newly formatted drive? Or just the stuff from my mac? Who knows someday they'll be worth something. On par with vinyl? I think there is always a vintage crowd out there and in the future too. I hope you don't have to wait until you are old and gray before you see your CDs appreciate in value (sentimental and monetary).
Imagine 200 years from now on the Antique Road Show (PBS), your great-great-grandchild is astonished to hear the value of your CD collection! :D

I've always heard the 6pin variant referred to as FW600 while FW400 was reserved only for the mini 4pin which doesn't have power. I realize it may not be technically correct but it's always allowed easier differentiation between the two connectors.
I've always heard of the 4-pin being referred to as iLink on Sony devices or mini firewire everywhere else.
I thought FW400 and 800 refer to the speed, so 600 makes no sense to me at all.

I keep reading on various posts that some people use a wet application method on dry films (PS and SGP).
Can you share your techniques and experiences using the wet apply on these films? Also is the adhesion as good as when applied dry?
I am interested since I have never had problems with dust, but I do have problems aligning it properly.
Aslo some questions about the SGP oleophobic:
1. Meltdownblitz mentioned in another thread that now instead of the single large speaker/cam cutout they have two separate ones. Do you have any pics? That single cutout was the only thing keeping me away from the oleo.
2. Why there is no back protector version of the SGP Oleo?
Not sure about your wet apply methods to dry apply films but I do know some people have been doing that. I personally had a friend at Att install my film for me because I am horrible at it. He aligned it perfect and went on easy without dust.
And about your question about the 2 separate cutouts for the oleo film, I'll take a pic for you of mine and edit this post and post it here. I'm still loving my oleo film though. And not to sure why they don't have a back oleo film, I'm sure they will soon though, another company just came out with a oleo back film that larry greenburg just reviewed recently, but if SGP comes out with a oleo back, I'll pick it up.

I'm a lover of WordPress. If it can't do something out of the box, there's likely one of it's many thousands of plugins which can help. And as you say, it's so much easier for clients to get to grips with than many other CMSs.

How do I get to it? PBfixit.com says its behind a little door inside the battery compartment. That door isn't there. Do I have to take the logic board off?
